Offline Revenue Digest
Monthly totals and customer counts from a billing CSV, computed offline in one HTML file.
Offline Revenue Digest is one HTML file that summarises a billing CSV export by calendar month. Open index.html in a browser, choose your CSV, then pick the date, amount and customer columns and a number format. For each month it shows the total amount as exported, the row count, paying customers, new customers, lost customers and net customers (a count of customers, not money). Calendar months with no rows are listed and flagged, and the month after each gap shows a dash for lost and net. You can download the table as a CSV. It works with no internet connection and has no accounts, API keys, integrations or uploads. Your file is read inside the page and is never sent anywhere. What the customer counts mean: Paying customers are distinct customers with at least one positive row in the month. Refunds and negative rows still add to the amount and row count, but they do not add to customer counts. Lost means a customer appeared last month but not this month. This includes one-time buyers, so it is an activity signal, not a verified cancellation. Customers are matched by the text in the chosen column, case-insensitively, so one person with two email addresses counts twice. Amounts: Tick "Amounts are in cents" if your export stores cents; totals are then divided by 100. Amounts are not converted between currencies, and taxes are not detected. In Auto format, when both separators appear the last one is the decimal point, and a single comma followed by one or two digits is a decimal comma. A dot-only amount with one dot, such as 1.234, is read as a decimal. An amount with several dots, such as 1.234.567, is read as thousands separators. The summary reports how many such amounts it saw. If it reports any, choose the number format yourself. Dates: The month is read from a full date in YYYY-MM-DD, YYYY/MM/DD or YYYY.MM.DD form (any time after the date is ignored), or from MM/DD/YYYY or DD/MM/YYYY-style text with a four-digit year. If both first numbers are 12 or less, the first number is read as the month. If the first number is above 12, it is read as the day. Days are not checked against the calendar. Any other date text is not read; the row is skipped and counted. Limits: Rows with an unreadable date, an invalid month (for example 2024-13 or 00), or a missing or unreadable amount or customer are skipped and counted.
