Env Key Check
Offline .env checker: lists missing, blank, extra and duplicate key names without showing any values.
Env Key Check is a single HTML page that compares a .env.example file with your .env. Paste both files and it lists: keys the example defines that are missing from .env; keys left blank in .env where the example defines them; keys in .env that the example does not define; duplicate keys in .env; and multi-line quoted values and PEM blocks, with their line ranges, as not compared. Lines that are not KEY=VALUE, other than blank lines and lines starting with #, are listed by line number and ignored. Values are never displayed. It runs entirely in your browser with no account, no install, no upload and no network requests. A built-in self-test checks the parser against sample cases, including a quoted value followed by a trailing comment. Limits: a quoted value or PEM block that closes on a later line counts as present, but its contents are not checked for blank values. A quoted value with no closing quote is read up to the next line containing that quote character, or up to -----END for a PEM block. If no closing line exists, only the first line is set aside and the rest of the file is read. A value starting with # counts as filled, and some loaders treat an unquoted leading # as a comment, so quote such values. The tool detects blank values but cannot judge whether any value is correct or working. It does not replace a secrets manager, a linter, or a check that your application starts. The $6 price is a one-time purchase for one offline HTML file that you keep.
