Community Post Rule Checker
Check a draft against your own community posting rules, fully offline.
Community Post Rule Checker is a single offline web page. Save a named profile of the posting rules you have written down for each online community you post in: title length, body word limits, whether links are allowed, required and banned phrases, a required tag, and manual review notes. Paste a draft and get a pass/fix checklist against those rules, then copy the title and body as plain text, with no label added. It includes three generic starter rule sets (announcement, question, feedback request) that you load into the form and edit. They are not the rules of any real community. Phrase checks match whole words only, so 'free' does not match 'freedom'. Titles are trimmed before the length check. What it does not do: it does not connect to the internet, create an account, or read, post or edit anything on any website. It does not know any community's rules unless you enter them. Link detection is heuristic and can miss or misflag text. It does not check tone, audience fit or policy compliance, so read each community's current rules yourself. Profiles are stored only in your browser's local storage on your device. Requirements: any modern web browser. No installation.
